The Calm Lab
A weekly space for entrepreneurs to let off steam, find clarity, and feel less alone.
Running a business means carrying a lot—decisions no one else sees, pressure you can't name, and a weight that doesn't always make it into the debrief. Most weeks, you're holding it together. But it costs. The Calm Lab is a free, facilitated peer space where you can drop the performance, say what's real, and leave feeling steadier.
What happens in The Calm Lab
We meet for an hour every Friday, 11am–12pm GMT, on Zoom. It's a small group—usually 3–5 people—so there's space to actually be heard. We start with grounding. Not to fix how you're feeling, but to meet it. That alone often reduces tension. Then we check in: your name, your work (if you want to share it), and what's alive for you right now. Wins. Tensions. Things you're building or chewing on.From there, we follow what feels most present in the room. Sometimes it goes deep. Sometimes it stays light. Either way, it meets people where they're at.We close with a checkout—often what you're grateful for, or what you're taking with you.
Who comes
Founders, solo operators, creatives, and business owners across industries. Some are building from scratch. Others are steering established ventures or navigating transitions. What they share: they value honest conversation, they're under some kind of pressure, and they're willing to show up without the mask.
"I loved that James personally approves every member and actually takes the time to know us. He really makes sure the space stays aligned with his values."
